Protection Built for the Water
Protect and transform your vessel with precision-installed film and marine-grade vinyl.
BUILT FOR
HARSH CONDITIONS
Marine environments are unforgiving. From UV exposure to saltwater and debris, your vessel faces constant wear. Our marine protection solutions are designed to preserve surfaces, reduce maintenance, and maintain a clean, refined appearance over time.
Why Marine Protection Matters
Protect your vessel from UV exposure, salt, oxidation, staining, and everyday marine wear before damage reaches the surface.
Protection
Marine Protection Films helps defend surfaces against salt, UV exposure, oxidation, staining, and everyday environmental wear.
Surface Preservation
Protective films and coatings help maintain gloss, color depth, and the overall condition of your vessel over time.
Easier Maintenance
Protected surfaces are easier to clean and maintain, helping reduce buildup, staining, and long-term surface deterioration.
Protection Meets Precision
Every installation is tailored to the unique contours and materials of your vessel. From preparation to final application, our process ensures a clean, consistent finish built to last demanding conditions.
FILMHAUS marine installations are completed inside our dedicated 5,500 square foot installation studio designed to support high-end marine protection and restyling projects. The facility features 16-foot pull-through doors for larger vessels, indoor wash and preparation areas with floor drains for proper surface prep, and a controlled installation environment focused on cleanliness and precision. For added security and peace of mind, the facility is monitored with security cameras throughout the installation process.
Marine Surfaces Take a Beating

Sun Exposure
Constant UV exposure leads to fading, oxidation, and surface degradation over time.

Salt & Water Damage
Saltwater and contaminants accelerate wear and can leave lasting surface marks.

Physical Wear
Docking, foot traffic, and equipment contact create frequent surface abrasion.

What areas of a boat can be protected?
High-impact and high-contact areas such as hull sides, bow sections, and interior surfaces can all be treated.
Is marine PPF different from automotive PPF?
Yes. Marine applications require materials and installation techniques suited for constant exposure to water and UV.
How long does marine protection last?
Lifespan depends on usage and conditions, but both PPF and wraps are designed to hold up under demanding environments.
Can I change the color of my boat with a wrap?
Yes. Marine wraps allow for full color changes, accents, or custom graphics.
Not unless you want it to. Clear PPF adds a virtually invisible protective layer that enhances gloss and helps preserve your boat’s finish. If you want to change the appearance, colored films, custom graphics, and design elements can completely transform the look of the boat.
No. It maintains a clear finish while preserving the original look.
How do I maintain it?
Routine cleaning is recommended to remove salt and buildup. Proper care helps extend the lifespan of the installation.
